About Us
I started fishing at five years old targeting rivers and ponds in the South of England with my grandad. As with many anglers I started off fishing for the small silver fish and perch. As the years went on I targeted bigger species like chub, barbel, carp and trout. At some point work and social life kept me away from fishing for a while.
When I was 26 I moved to Switzerland. Inspired by the beautiful rivers and lakes I started to think about fishing again. Three years later I taught myself to fly fish. And fell in love with fishing artificial baits. Quite soon I began to tie my own flies.
Around this time I was also introduced to lures which sparked my interest in making my own. The first I made were hard baits, jerk baits and crank baits. There was not much information around then on Youtube, so there was a lot of trial and error involved. I kept on learning and trying new techniques. I started catching on my own lures which felt great.
Fast forward some years to now and I am back in the South of England, fishing some of the rivers I grew up on. These days I almost only fish with lures I make as I have complete confidence in them.
